The Monstera deliciosa is an amazing long-term houseplant. My Monstera definitely sparked my interest in houseplants when I first started House Plant Journal.
When given good light (an adequately wide view of the sky + up to 3 hours of direct sun is tolerable) and watered accordingly (whenever the soil reaches 50-75% dryness), the Monstera deliciosa will grow vigorously. Whenever you repot, you can go up in size to roughly the same diameter as the largest leaf – my own Monstera currently lives in a 16″ pot!
Get a Monstera deliciosa to enjoy years of wonderful houseplant companionship!
