New peace lily flowers emerge from the back of a leaf petiole - it looks like the leaf is pregnant

This only happens once the newest leaf has unfurled - existing, older leaves don't produce flowers
-
So in order to get as many new flowers as possible, you need the plant to grow as many new leaves as possible. Encouraging new leaf growth starts with light
-
I've had this peace lily for over 10 years so it has been through many different lighting conditions but if I had to summarize the two lighting contexts where it did the best, I'd say:

Natural light, indoors: 1-2 hours direct sun + indirect light in the 200-400 FC range

Grow light (white LED): 400 FC x 14 hours a day

Watered with 3-1-2 fertilizer whenever the soil was about halfway dry (trying not to let it wilt for too long)

A new leaf just started emerging from my second Mo

A new leaf just started emerging from my second Monstera (a baby from the big one) and coincided as I brought it indoors - I think a time lapse is appropriate!
