Monstera Leaf not responding – House Plant Journal

Monstera Leaf not responding

How long have you had the plant? 1 to 6 months

Concerns:

The leaf is sad and wilted. Not responding to anything.

Potted in sphagnum moss:

Light Situation:

Only indirect light; the sun never shines directly on the plant.

Darryl’s Analysis

It looks like you got a recently cut Monstera node with a leaf, which looks completely fine to me.  I wouldn’t expect this particular leaf to look any nicer.

Given your good light situation, the plant should establish a good root system in a few months then put up a new stem.  At that time, maybe sooner, your current leaf will die off.

Everything in plant care will make you worry unless you gain a solid foundation in what actually matters – learn here.
