How long have you had the plant? 1 to 6 months
In the last few days, new brown spots of different sizes have been appearing on my leaves
Noticed today, some small white bugs on potting substrate (I have not changed soil from buyer but looks like aroid mix) and I found the same bugs on the inside of decorative pot. Some were trying to climb up via air root but none found on leaves or stems.

What fertilizer do you use? I use Baby bio liquid fertilizer for all indoor plants
When was the last time you repotted? I haven’t repotted.

There’s nothing wrong with your plant. A brown spot here and there, especially on the white parts, is inevitable. Enjoy the nice leaves while they last because, as with all leaves, they have a limited lifespan. Monstera leaves will remain nice for a year or two before they begin to die off. The goal is to ensure your environmental conditions (mostly light) and care (watering, fertilizing, repotting) will encourage new growth to continue. Do not fall into the trap of thinking “proper care = perfect leaves forever”
Bark chips will often have soil mites, springtails, or even fungus gnat larvae – all of which are harmless to the plant. If you’d rather not have them around, you can repot into fresh soil.
